YOUR FIRST VISIT

If you are contemplating starting Chiropractic care but are not quite sure what to expect on your first visit, this information will help answer some of your questions and make you feel at ease with your first visit to our office.

During your first visit, after completing forms that provide the doctor with background information about you, your symptoms and condition, Dr. Corcoran will complete a thorough examination that includes:

• Patient History

• Patient Examination

• Diagnostic Studies (when indicated)

• Diagnosis

• Chiropractic Treatment Plan

• At Home Instructions

If you have had any diagnostic studies prior to your first visit, for example X-Rays, MRI or Laboratory Studies, Dr. Corcoran requests that you bring all images and reports with you to your first visit.

If the doctor determines that your condition would be more appropriately treated by another health care professional, she will make the proper referral. Otherwise, if you and the doctor agree that Chiropractic Care is appropriate, you will begin treatment.
